Mr. Tagaban wanted us to learn that our life is a story and respect other people. If you do that you will be treated the same way. He said “That’s how the world works.” He wanted us to listen to the happy flute music.
Mr. Tagaban said a rabbit lost its arms, one leg, and its head because cougar, bear, coyote, and eagle wanted him to stop singing. But rabbit’s song was still singing because his song came from him heart. Mr. Tagaban said “Believe in yourself ” and don’t bully other people.
The most important thing I learned today was that you are a storyteller. Mr. Tagaban said “Greet people the right way; do not just say your name.” Mr. Tagaban said,“Respect people,” and that’s the way the world works.
I would recommend this assembly to other schools because it teaches kids to be respectful and learn that’s how the world works. He tells you that no one can bully you to make you stop doing something you want to do, as in the rabbit story.
