Whales are animals that mostly travel together. Some may go ahead of each other, either because they have babies or because they are about to have babies. Whales travel a lot each day. Because they eat a lot each day, then that causes them to gain a lot of weight. While they have their long journey traveling they loose most of the weight that they gained. The whales need this weight though so that they can continue on their long journey.
About every three months the whales travel to different places but in order for the babies to be able to travel in this journey the mothers have to train them. The mothers bring their babies to stronger currents and they help the babies get stronger. After they are done training the mothers and babies are ready to go on their journey.
Because the whales are always on the go and traveling with their families and babies you can often call these whales outgoing. They are very busy animals that love their family, and they travel a lot!! They are hard working and when you think they get tired they keep going.
So would you like to be as outgoing and as busy as a whale? Why or why not?
